REQUEST FOR TENDER
Reconstruction of German Road
North Mara Gold Mine, a fully owned subsidiary of Twiga Minerals Corporation, which is ultimately owned by Barrick Gold Corporation and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania requests the submission of Tenders from reputable, experienced, certified, and qualified parties to provide the following Earthworks and Roadworks services:
- Preparing of identified existing borrow areas
- Providing accommodation of traffic arrangements a6 required
- Removal of topsoil and unsuitable material on the existing road
- Shaping the existing road formation
- importation of wearing course and compacting the material
- Finishing the road reserve by the correct shaping of side drains
- Construction of culverts, either new culvert or extension of existing
Pre-qualification Criteria
(1) At least 5-years’ experience in construction of Roads
(2) Ability to demonstrate track record and evidence references for at least 3 similar prior successful projects to the value of USD 100,000 or more
(3) Demonstration of critical skills needs such as Surveyors, Civil/Highway Engineer, Material Technician
(4) Valid Registration with Contractors Registration Board
