Veta-lindi equinor shell scholarship for level 3 trades 2025/2026
Introduction
The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA), on behalf of VETA-Lindi, in cooperation with Equinor Tanzania AS and Shell Exploration Tanzania Limited, invites eligible candidates to apply for the Level 3 Certificate in six trades offered at VETA Lindi. The available trades are:
- Electrical Installation
- Welding and Metal Fabrication
- Masonry and Brick Laying
- Design Sewing
- Textile Technology
- Motor-Vehicle Mechanics
- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Scholarship Benefits
The VETA-Equinor Shell Scholarship covers:
- Tuition fees
- Medical insurance
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Transportation
- Start-up tools
The duration of study is 12 months.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must have passed Level 2 to be eligible for Level 3.
- Must have passed Form Four Examinations and been awarded a certificate.
- The scholarship is open only to Lindi youth (residents or natives) aged 35 or below.
- Priority will be given to female, disabled, and low-income youth, as well as youth who are not in formal employment.Job listings
Application Procedure
Applicants must follow the steps below:
- Submit an application letter attached with an application form to join Level 3 at VETA Lindi RVTSC in any of the mentioned trades.
- Provide an introductory letter from the Street/Village/Ward Executive Officer showing proof of residence and/or native status of Lindi.
- Submit the application in electronic form or as a hard copy to the contact provided below.
Important Dates
- Application Deadline: 13th June, 2025
- Interviews: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews after receiving admission letters for the selected trades.
