Job Summary:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, managing site activities, and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage construction sites to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards
- Plan and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports
- Solve construction issues and implement technical solutions on-site
- Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project timelines and adjust plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in construction and project supervision
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent technical knowledge in construction practices and site supervision
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in relevant engineering and project management software is an added advantage
