Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field like Computer Science, Technical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience Requirements
- 5 years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or a related field is frequently expected.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the command center team, promoting a positive and high-performing work environment.
- Provide coaching, performance feedback, and growth opportunities to team members.
- Supervise daily operations of the Mobile Financial Services (MFS) command center.
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations, internal policies, and security protocols.
- Analyze system performance, track KPIs, and report key metrics to management.
- Establish and lead processes for detecting, escalating, and resolving incidents efficiently.
- Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventative improvements.
- Manage the command center’s technology and infrastructure to ensure reliability.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners, providing regular updates.
- Develop plans to enhance MFS operations, drive innovation, and support business growth.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and improve mobile banking services.
- Identify training needs and implement learning strategies to upskill staff.
- Ensure prompt resolution of complex customer issues and escalation where necessary.
Core Competencies
- Proven experience in MFS operations, customer service, and team management.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networks, and systems is necessary.
- Experience in managing projects and initiatives is often required.
- Strong knowledge of MFS regulations, compliance requirements, and security protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using MFS software and systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with digital MFS technologies and platforms.
