Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training of Research Equipment (Scientific) For TAFIRI Laboratory Dar es Salaam Center

1. This Invitation for Tenders follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project which appeared in TANePS Issue no. 198 dated 20/07/2021.
2. The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries – Fisheries received/has applied for/intends to apply for a credit from the WORLD BANK IDA CREDIT 5589TZ towards the cost of SOUTH WEST INDIAN OCEAN FISHERIES GOVERNANCE AND SHARED GROWTH PROGRAM (SWIOFish) and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to cover eligible payments under the contract for Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training of Research Equipment (Scientific) For TAFIRI Laboratory Dar es Salaam Center.
3. The Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries – Fisheries now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Suppliers for carrying out the Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Training of Research Equipment (Scientific) For TAFIRI Laboratory Dar es Salaam Centre
4. Tendering will be conducted through the National Competitive Tendering procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations – Government Notice No. 446 of 2013 and is open to all Tenders as defined in the Regulations.
5. Interested eligible Tenders may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Secretary, Ministerial Tender Board, Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries, Government City – Mtumba, Ulinzi Street, P.O. Box 2847, 40487 DODOMA, [email protected] from 08:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays.
6. A complete set of Tendering Documents in English and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenders through the portal and upon payment of a non­refundable participation fee of 30000.00 TZS. Payment is performed through the dedicated payment gateway integrated in the TANePS.
7. All Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security in an acceptable form in the amount of 10000000.00 TZS or freely convertible currencies.
8. All Tenders must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 10/02/2022, 11:00. Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the

presence of Tenders’ representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Sub Office Street Address: Veterinary Complex, 131 Nelson Mandela Road, MVUVI HOUSE, Floor/Room number: Ground floor, Conference Hall City: Dar es Salaam Country: Tanzania .

11. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, Tenders not submitted, not opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
