Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in No. 1 of 2022-2023 Issue no. 2022-2023 dated 20/07/2022.
2. The National Irrigation Commission received/has applied for/intends to apply for a loan
   from the NIRC towards the cost of REGROW and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of
   this loan to cover eligible payments under the contract for Provision of Cosultancy services
   for Envirnmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for Construction of Irrigatoion
   Schemes in Kimani and Chimala Rivers Sub Catchments.
3. The National Irrigation Commission now invites eligible Firms to indicate their interest
   in providing the services which include Provision of consultancy services for Provision
   of Environmental and Social impact assessment (ESIA) for the construction of irrigation
   schemes in Kimani and Chimala River Sub catchment
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Least Cost selection procedures specified in the
   Public Procurement Regulations.
7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
   South Kikuyu, [email protected] from 07:30-15:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on
   public holidays.
8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 23/01/2023, 11:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
   circumstances.
