Dear Mr. /Ms.

1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
   project which appeared in TANePS Issue no. 1036 dated 29/07/2022.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has allocated public funds for the
   cost of PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICE TO FACILITATE PUBLICIZING AND
   VISIBILITY OF THE NATIONAL CARBON MONITORING CENTRE and intends to apply
   a portion of the funds to eligible payments under the Contract for which the Request for
   Proposal (RFP) is issued.
3. The Sokoine University of Agriculture now invites proposals to provide the following
   consulting services: PROVISION OF CONSULTANCY SERVICES TO FACILITATE
   PUBLICIZING AND VISIBILITY OF THE NATIONAL CARBON MONITORING CENTRE
   More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference.
4. This Letter of Invitation and the RFP has been issued to the following short-listed
   Consultants:
   •
   It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
5. A firm will be selected under National Competitive Selection and procedures described
   in this RFP.
6. In addition to the Letter of Invitation, the RFP includes the following documents, which
   are available online under the Tender Documents section of TANePS:

   (a) that you have received the Letter of Invitation and the RFP; and
   (b) whether you will submit a proposal alone or in association with any other
   Consultant.
