Expression of Interest

  1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
    which appeared in TANePS Issue no. N/A dated 04/09/2022.
  2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
    of the Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ during the financial year 2022-23. It is
    intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment
    under the contract for the Consultancy Services for Supervision of Construction of Igawa
    – Songwe – Tunduma (218 Km) to Bitumen Standard by Engineering, Procurement,
    Construction and Financing (EPC+F) Mode of Contract, Tender No. AE/001/2022-23/HQ/
    C/122.
  3. The Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ now invites eligible Firms to indicate their
    interest in providing the services which include The Project Road is located in two Regions
    namely; Mbeya and Songwe. It is traversing through two districts of Mbeya District in
    Mbeya Region and Momba District in Songwe Region. The existing road is a tarmac road
    that is classified as Trunk Road. The road is passable with difficulties due to potholes and
    small width with respect to the number of traffics on the proposed road
  4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
    the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
    experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
    Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
  5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
    Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
    Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
  6. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
    specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
  7. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Dar
    es Salaam, [email protected] from 08:00-16:30 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive
    except on public holidays.
  8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
    before 02/06/2023, 10:00
  9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
    circumstances.
