Expression of Interest

- This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
which appeared in TANePS Issue no. N/A dated 04/09/2022. - The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
of the Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ during the financial year 2022-23. It is
intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under
the contract for the Consultancy Services for Supervision of Construction of Mafinga –
Mtwango (81 Km) to Bitumen Standard by Engineering, Procurement, Construction and
Financing (EPC+F) Mode of Contract, Tender No. AE/001/2022-23/HQ/C/121. - The Tanzania National Roads Agency – HQ now invites eligible Firms to indicate their
interest in providing the services which include The Mafinga-Mgololo Road is a Trunk
Road located in Iringa Region. The Road links Mufindi District which is in the top five of
the Industrial production in Tanzania. Mgololo Paper mill is the largest Paper Factory in
East and Central Africa. The Road passes through Isalavanu Village, Mtili Village, Sawala
Village, Sao Hill Forest, Mgololo forest, Makungu Village to Mgololo Center. About 10.6km
of is paved Road which is in fair condition while 6.6 km at Mgololo Escarpment is in poor.
About 70.35km of the Road Section is gravel with fair to poor condition. The Project Road
transverses through Rolling, Hill and flat Terrain - Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications. - A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations). - Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
specified in the Public Procurement Regulations. - Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the Dar
es Salaam, [email protected] from 08:00-16:00 on Mondays to Fridays inclusive
except on public holidays. - Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
before 02/06/2023, 10:00 - Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
circumstances.
