Invitation for Tenders

1. The United Republic of Tanzania has received Funds from the African Development Bank towards the cost of Climate and Seasonal Weather Information for Adaptation Planning in Northern Tanzania Project. It is intended that, part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible Payments under the contract for the supply of one motor vehide pickup double cabin.
2. The Vice President Office now invites sealed tenders from eligible supplier for the supply of one Motor vehicle pickup double cabin.
3. Tendering will be conducted through the National competitive Tendering procedures defined in the Public Procurement Act (Goods, Works, Non Consultant Service and Disposal of Public Assets
by Tender) and its Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 as amended in 2016.
4. You may obtain further information from the office of the Secretary Ministerial Tender Board, Vice President Office, P.O. Box 2502, Dodoma, NHIF Building, 3rd Floor from 09.30 am to 03.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays except on public holidays.
3. A complete set of Tendering Documents) in English will be issued free of charge.
6. Tender must be accompanied by a Tender Security Declaration.
7. The deadline for the submission of bids is 10:00 hours local time on 28th December, 2020. Bid will be opened in public and in the presence of bidder’s representatives, who choose to attend at the Conference room of Vice President Office NHIF Building at 10.00 hours local time on 28th December, 2020. Bids sent by post must be registered. The outer cover shall be clearly marked “TENDER NO. ME 002/2019 /20/VPO/G/13 FOR SUPPLY OF ONE MOTOR VEHICLE PICKUP DOUBLE CABIN” NOT TO BE OPENED BEFORE 10.00 HOURS LOCAL TIME
ON 28th December, 2020.
8 Late tender, portion of tender, electronic tender, tender not received and pot opened and not read out in public at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
