TENDER FOR PURCHASE OF A FIVE STOREY BUILDING IN ZANZIBAR

Pursuant to instructions given to us by our Principal CRDB BANK P~C of Head Office Azikiwe Street, P.O. Box 268, Dar Es Salaam Tanzania, we hereby notify the general public that we shall sell by Tender, the Bank’s mortgaged property: A FIVE STOREY BUILDING located at block A-3 Mtopepo Chumbuni Area within Western District of Zanzibar in the Island of Zanzibar trading by the name of AKBAR CHARITABLE HOSPITAL.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF TENDER

1. Interested tenderers are advised to get further information of the Property from the office of ADILI AUCTION MART LIMITED located at House # 53 Plot No. 151 Block 45C Kijitonyama, Makumbusho Area Opposite Mesuma Hotel Dar Es Salaam and Zanzibar Branch Office located at House No MP/182 Mpendae Street Western District of Zanzibar
2. Inspection and search reports of the property are to be conducted by interested tenderers before submission of Bids.
3. Bid Documents should be in plain envelope with the outer cover clearly marked “TENDER NO.AAM/CRDB/ZNZ/2021/01 FOR PURCHASE OF FIVE STOREY BUILDING LOCATED AT BLOCK A-3 MTOPEPO CHUMBUNI ZANZIBAR addressed and · delivered to Adili Auction Mart Ltd Zanzibar Branch Office located at House No MP/182 Mpendae Western District of Zanzibar.
4. Deadline for submission of Bid Documents shall be on Monday 29th March, 2020 at 10.00 AM and opened the same day in front of all tenderers or representatives at 10.30 AM at office of Adili Auction Mart Ltd located at House No MP/182 Mpendae Street Western District of Zanzibar.
5. Telegraph, faxes, electronically mailed and late submission of bid documents shall not be accepted
6. The winner of the tender must deposit 25% of the bid price within 2 days after being notified to be winner of the tender. The remaining 75% must be paid within fourteen (14) days from day of payment of first installment.
7. If the successful winner fails to pay the remaining 75% of the bid amount within the specified time frame, the deposited amount will be forfeited and the property resold by new tender after fresh notification.
