Reports To: Head of Methods and Process
The Lead Process Engineering and Flow Assurance position supports all EACOP assets to ensure safe, efficient, and optimized operations. The role oversees fluid sampling, laboratory analysis, chemical management, and key process documentation. It involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting process studies, managing site modifications, and leading process optimization efforts.
Lead process studies to resolve operational issues.
Provide process support for projects and facility tie-ins.
Serve as custodian of master process documents (P&IDs, PFDs, Safety Logic diagrams).
Maintain and lead process simulations for operational improvement.
Ensure process documentation complies with company and local requirements.
Conduct de-bottlenecking studies and recommend optimization solutions.
Maintain up-to-date process digital tools and methods.
Lead flow assurance studies and support asset operations.
Evaluate optimized use of Drag Reducing Agent (DRA).
Develop and implement fluid sampling schemes.
Determine appropriate chemical injection rates for various flow regimes.
Ensure availability and cost-effective management of chemical stock.
Oversee laboratory analysis and reporting.
Manage the Site Modifications process and maintain modification registers.
Train and coach Process/Field Engineers and operations personnel.
Provide technical input for HAZOP, safety reviews, and other studies.
Collaborate closely with internal entities to support process and flow assurance work.
Engineering degree (Chemical or Petroleum Engineering preferred).
Master’s degree is an added advantage.
10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
Minimum 5 years in Process Engineering.
Proficiency in process engineering software (Pro II, HYSIS, OLGA).
Strong English communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal abilities.
