The Senior Economist will:

Review the Medium-Term Expenditure Framework of public and statutory corporations.
Coordinate the review of corporate plans, annual plans, and budgets of public and statutory corporations and recommend them for approval.
Develop investment plans for public and statutory corporations and recommend them for approval.
Collect and evaluate various planning reports from public and statutory corporations and provide appropriate advice.
Review and advise on policy papers prepared by PICS.
Prepare memoranda of understanding for projects and programmes requiring international financing.
Monitor and evaluate the activities and targets of the Office of the Treasury Registrar.
Coordinate all parliamentary matters.
Perform other duties related to their field as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

All applicants must be employed in the public service.
Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Economics
- Agricultural economics
- An equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
Applicants must have at least seven years of relevant working experience.
