FLEET AND TRAINING SUPERVISOR

• Location: Dar es Salaam (Workplace: DAR ES SALAAM-MAFUTA RD, Tanzania)
• Employment Type: Fixed term position
• Experience Required: Minimum 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

• HSEQ: Ensure compliance with PATROM rules, branch standards, and local regulations; enforce safety procedures for transport; conduct product quality controls; participate in accident analyses; implement corrective actions; prevent fraud in transport; assist transporters with safety systems.
• Fleet Supervision: Conduct audits and follow up on action plans; perform inspections (roadworthiness, vetting, safe to load); monitor KPIs; determine fleet size; manage new truck acceptance; validate approved vehicle lists; analyze technical anomalies; vet vehicles; optimize fleet performance to reduce costs; interface with stakeholders for efficient deliveries.
• Training: Coordinate driver training (theory, practical, assessments); develop procedures with transporters; monitor training quality and deadlines; validate accredited driver lists; prepare Toolbox meetings; conduct spot checks; train safe-to-load operators.
• Other: Cross-check transport invoices.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Logistics.
• Good knowledge of petroleum industry operations.
• Leadership skills, ability to work independently, strong safety adherence.
• Understanding of complex processes and information systems.
• Negotiation skills, rigor, integrity, stress resistance, quick reaction.
• Fluent in MS Office.

STOCK CONTROLLER

• Location: Dar es Salaam (Workplace: DAR ES SALAAM-HAILE SELASSIE RD, Tanzania)

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all HSEQ Golden Rules and standards.
• Conduct end-of-month and surprise stock taking for bulk and lubes across depots.
• Update daily stocks report (DSR) and reconcile with systems weekly/monthly.
• Monitor stock movements to prevent fraud or improper transfers.
• Track losses/gains, report causes, and recommend actions.
• Prepare and circulate monthly performance reports; chair loss committee meetings.
• Ensure stock replenishment for upcountry depots and JNIA to avoid stock-outs.
• Maintain electronic lubes reports; confirm depot transfers.
• Reconcile airport figures monthly for finance.
• Promote teamwork and compliance with government laws.
• Minimize stocks in external terminals.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Computer literate.
• Strong experience in stock management.
• Ability to coordinate internally (with operations, finance, auditors) and externally (government bodies).
