The Asset Risk Investigation Officer handles day-to-day activities for the effective functioning of special cases, investigations, and the enforcement of fraud, vandalism, and emergency situations. The role provides expertise on investigation-related issues, manages an assigned special cases portfolio, and ensures client resolution aligns with company policies. (Note: May require working outside normal working hours).
Workflow & Operations: Analyze, assign, and manage workflow for assigned special cases portfolios.
Team Supervision & Dispute Resolution: Provide supervisory oversight to the team, resolve employee issues, and evaluate officer performance.
Risk & Cost Control: Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigations, and approve process costs to ensure minimal expenditure.
Performance Management: Monitor employee performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and track progress.
Reporting & Stakeholder Relations: Compile daily team reports for the Supervisor/Manager and foster positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Comply with company policies, processes, and code of conduct.
Complete administrative and work-related tasks within agreed deadlines to meet company goals.
Embrace, lead, and embed change within the unit.
Proactively recommend innovative ideas to boost business efficiency.
Achieve a Month-over-Month (MoM) resolution rate of at least 85%.
Incur minimal cost during the resolution of assigned cases.
Manage Turnaround Time (TAT) for all assigned cases.
Maintain quality call scores (QC Score) per day at agreed levels.
Lead, coach, and mentor the assigned team.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of in-depth experience in asset risk and investigation operations.
Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong presentation skills.
Excellent communication, planning, organizational, and negotiation skills.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and focus on internal controls.
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively across diverse business units.
Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing business priorities.
