Duties and responsibilities

The Assistant Lecturer – Community Development will be responsible for the following duties:

• Teaching up to NTA Level 8, which is equivalent to Bachelor’s Degree level.
• Preparing learning resources for tutorial exercises.
• Conducting research, seminars, and case studies.
• Carrying out consultancy and community services under supervision.
• Supervising student projects.
• Preparing teaching manuals.
• Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Holder of a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Community Development from recognized institutions.
• Must have a GPA of 3.8 or above at Master’s Degree level.
• Must have a GPA of 3.5 or above at Bachelor’s Degree level.

Remuneration

The successful candidates will be paid according to the PHTS 2.1 salary scale.
