Fuel Feeding & Material Handling: Load, feed, and manage raw fuel materials (coal, biomass, wood, or solid fuels) into boiler hoppers or conveyors continuously to maintain proper combustion levels.
Operational Assistance: Work closely with Boiler Operators and Supervisors to ensure optimal steam pressure and temperature parameters are sustained.
Equipment Monitoring: Assist in checking fuel feeding equipment, conveyors, and hoppers for blockages, leakages, or mechanical issues, reporting faults immediately.
Housekeeping & Safety: Keep the boiler feeding area, fuel storage area, and ash discharge zones clean, organized, and free of fire or trip hazards.
Ash Disposal: Safely clear and transport ash, slag, and waste residue away from the boiler systems according to safety protocols.
Safety Adherence: Comply strictly with plant Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, including wearing prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Education: VETA Certificate, Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Trade, or relevant Vocational Technical Training.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience working in an industrial plant environment (boiler or factory operations experience preferred).
Physical Fitness: Strong physical stamina and capability to handle manual tasks under shift work conditions.
Skills & Attributes:
Basic technical understanding of boiler feeding mechanisms and material handling.
Strong awareness of industrial safety standards.
Ability to work well in a team and follow technical instructions accurately.
Reliable, punctual, and disciplined.
