
Cooperative Bank Tanzania Plc (Coop Bank) officially commenced operations on October 1, 2024, following a nationwide cooperative movement aimed at capital mobilization and the strategic merger of Kilimanjaro Cooperative Bank and Tanzania Community Bank. The bank’s mandate is focused on transforming the financial landscape of Tanzania. Coop Bank is dedicated to enhancing financial inclusion by providing access to banking services for cooperatives, farmers, and unbanked populations. Additionally, the bank plans to leverage technology and innovation to improve service outreach and operational efficiency.

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will provide strategic and operational leadership in financial planning, management, treasury, operations, regulatory compliance, and risk management. This role is crucial for ensuring the bank’s financial stability and sustainability while adhering to the Bank of Tanzania regulations.
