COUNTER ATTENDANT (Wakike)

G5 Lounge, located in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam, announces a job vacancy for a Counter Attendant (female) who is capable, disciplined, and enthusiastic about working in a customer service environment.

Applicant Qualifications

• Must be female, neat in appearance, and attentive to personal hygiene.
• Must have at least one (1) year of experience working at a counter, lounge, bar, hotel, or restaurant.
• Must hold a Certificate-level qualification or higher.
• Applicants with a background in Accounting will be given priority.
• Must possess good customer service skills and the ability to communicate respectfully.
• Must be honest, hardworking, and able to work under pressure.
• Must have computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel; proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems will be an advantage.
• Must be willing to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Must reside in Kigamboni or the surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers at the counter professionally and respectfully.
• Accurately processing payments and issuing receipts.
• Handling cash and systematically handing over sales records.
• Preparing daily sales reports.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure excellent customer service.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization at the counter area. – To perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
