We run the Kafika House programme, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children undergoing pre and post operative care and rehabilitation for surgically treatable disabilities. The role responsibilities will also include:

• Coordinating facility teams, rosters, timetables and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with Kafika House Child Protection and PSEAH standards.
• Build and maintain good relationships with local stakeholders and government authorities.
• Support the hosting of visitors and volunteers at the facility.
• Ensure effective communication between the facility and the Kafika House Management Team.
• Monitoring adherence to facility SOPs, standards and recommend improvements where needed.
• Work with the Programmes Manager on facility planning, budgeting and expenditure.
• Lead and support the team to build a positive, professional and values driven working environment.
• Support staff development, training and performance.

What we are looking for

• A Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Sociology or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, including proven facility operations experience.
• Experience working with local suppliers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good critical thinking and decision-making skills.
• Ability to delegate, coordinate and follow through on tasks.
• High levels of integrity, confidentiality and fairness.
• Good planning and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
