Job Title: Farm Supervisor

Location: Morogoro & Iringa – Tanzania

Job Type: Contract

Reports to: Director

Positions: 2

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintaining boundary markers for different farms.
2. Conducting regular patrols or inspections of farm perimeters by regular site visits or Using surveillance systems (CCTV, drones, or guard posts) where appropriate.
3. Coordinating with local authorities or security services to prevent trespassing, theft, or encroachment.
4. Preparing reports for government agencies or cooperatives when needed and correspondences like letters, memos, emails etc.
5. Handling disputes over boundaries or encroachments.
6. Ensuring boundaries are legally surveyed and marked.
7. Filing complaints or legal actions against trespassers or encroachers to relevant authorities.
8. Liaise with regulatory authorities on compliance matters at the farm.
9. Liaise with government officers on regular inspections.
10. Supervise warehouse constructions and repairs if any.
11. Provide regular reports of all farm activities to the directors and advise management on technical issues when necessary.
12. Follow up on Farm title deeds with relevant authorities.

Skills & Requirements:

– Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in any related field.

– 1 or 2 years of experience of working in a busy industry.

– Strong interest of working in agriculture activities.

– Must be able to drive a motorbike.

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
