Barrick Gold Corporation is seeking a motivated Graduate Safety Officer to join its 12-month Graduate Development Program at the Bulyanhulu Gold Mine. The program is designed to accelerate technical expertise, leadership skills, and career growth within a high-performing safety team, contributing to Barrick’s commitment to safe, efficient, and sustainable mining operations.
Hands-On Experience: Practical engagement in Bulyanhulu’s active mining operations.
Rotational Exposure: Rotations across key operational departments to build well-rounded industry knowledge.
Mentorship & Coaching: Direct guidance from seasoned industry experts and senior OHS professionals.

Support OHS teams in safety inspections, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring.

Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline from a recognized institution.
Academic Standing: GPA of 3.5 or higher is required (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical ability and collaborative teamwork skills.
