Program Overview
TSL’s Graduate Trainee Program is a structured 1-year development initiative designed for ambitious recent graduates and early-career professionals seeking to transition into Tanzania’s capital markets. Trainees will rotate across core business functions: Research & Advisory, Global Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, and Marketing.

Note: Completion of the program provides hands-on exposure and professional growth, but does not guarantee permanent employment at TSL.
What You Will Gain

Rotational Development: Hands-on experience across advisory, research, treasury, wealth management, and corporate marketing. 

Mentorship & Live Deals: Guidance from senior market experts while working on live IPOs, bond issuances, private placements, and BoT auctions.

Technical Upskilling: Financial modeling, valuation techniques, market intelligence reporting, and deep exposure to CMSA and DSE regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

Nationality: Must be a Tanzanian National.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Graduation Year: Graduated within the last three years (2023 onwards).
Record: Strong academic background with a demonstrated interest in capital markets. 
Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Swahili.

Preferred Advantages:

Prior internship experience in a bank, brokerage, or advisory firm.
Professional certifications in progress (CFA Level I candidate, CISI, etc.).
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Involvement in finance clubs, investment societies, or relevant extracurricular activities.
