Key responsibilities

1. Conduct site surveys and confirm grid requirements.
2. Supervise line construction and electrical installations.
3. Handle TANESCO applications and follow up.
4. Plan and coordinate project schedules and resources.
5. Review BOQs, control costs and manage variations.
6. Coordinate materials, logistics and transport.
7. Supervise contractors and team performance.
8. Oversee testing, commissioning and energization.
9. Ensure HSE and quality standards are met.
10. Liaise with clients, stakeholders and provide project reports.

Minimum qualifications & experience

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• At least 3–5 years’ practical experience in grid connection, power distribution or electrical infrastructure projects.
• Practical knowledge of HT/LV distribution networks, 11kV/33kV systems, transformers, pole lines, ACSR/ABC conductors, metering, earthing, protection systems, electrical drawings and BOQs.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively within Tanzania.
