Position: Intern Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) – BEAT Breast Cancer Project

Role Overview & Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Assist in data collection, cleaning, verification, and analysis for breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and patient navigation.

  • Health System & DHMT Support: Work alongside Integrated Reproductive and Child Health (IRCH) units and District Health Management Teams (DHMTs) to improve data quality, documentation, and timely reporting.

  • Patient Tracking: Assist in tracking confirmed breast cancer patients to support continuity of care.

  • Digital Systems & Reporting: Support digital health tools (ZanEMR, DHIS2, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint) and assist in drafting project reports, presentations, and data summaries. 

  • Field Monitoring: Conduct data verification and monitoring field visits across health facilities in Unguja and Pemba.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: Medical Degree (MD or equivalent).

  • Skills: Proficiency in data management tools (Excel, ZanEMR, DHIS2, Power BI), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. Intern Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) at Jhpiego
