MWALIMU DARAJA LA III B – (ELIMU MAALUM) (7 Posts) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing lesson plans, teaching preparations, schemes of work, and work plans for other assigned duties.
  • Preparing and producing teaching and learning materials.
  • Teaching, assessing, and keeping records of students’ progress.
  • Monitoring and following up on students’ attendance at school and in class.
  • Supervising students’ intellectual, physical, and moral upbringing and providing guidance and counseling.

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must hold a Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Form Four) or Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (Form Six) who have passed two or more subjects taught in schools and successfully completed a Diploma in Special Education Teaching from recognized government teacher training colleges.

MWANDISHI MWENDESHA OFISI DARAJA LA II (OFFICE MANAGEMENT SECRETARY GRADE II) (243 Posts) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Typing letters, reports, and official and confidential documents.
  • Receiving visitors, listening to their problems, and directing them to where they can be assisted.
  • Keeping records of events, appointments, meeting dates, boss’s trips, and other work schedules.
  • Searching for files and documents required in the execution of duties.
  • Receiving files and distributing them to relevant officers in the department/section/unit.
  • Collecting, keeping, and returning files and documents to the relevant sections.
  • Preparing summaries and making arrangements for various meetings.
  • Preparing lists of office equipment requirements.
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must be Form Four (Form IV) or Form Six (Form VI) graduates with a Diploma (NTA Level 6) in Secretarial Studies. In addition, they must have passed Kiswahili and English shorthand at 80 words per minute and received training in office computer programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, E-mail, and Publisher from any government-recognized institution.

DAKTARI WA MIFUGO DARAJA LA II (VETERNARY OFFICER II) (1 Post) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Providing veterinary health services.
  • Conducting disease investigations for livestock in the area of work in accordance with the law.
  • Preparing and supervising plans to prevent, control, and eradicate livestock diseases in the area.
  • Supervising animal welfare rights.
  • Participating in the investigation of wildlife diseases in the area.
  • Supervising and coordinating compliance with regulations and laws on diseases, livestock inspection, livestock products, and livestock inputs.
  • Coordinating and supervising slaughterhouse hygiene activities and meat inspection in the area of work.
  • Preparing livestock health reports in the area of work.
  • Performing any other duties in the profession assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from Sokoine University of Agriculture (SUA) or any other recognized institution and must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Tanzania.

MKADIRIAJI UJENZI DARAJA LA II (QUANTITY SURVEYOR GRADE II) (55 Posts) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparing work schedules, construction cost estimates (BOQ), and contract documents.
  • Preparing cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Collecting data and conducting surveys on construction project rehabilitation.
  • Preparing budgets for construction projects.
  • Preparing valuation reports for construction projects.
  • In collaboration with the Quantity Surveyor, preparing brief construction reports for projects.
  • Handling all financial administration matters for projects, preparing special construction permits/documents and contracts.

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Advanced Diploma in Engineering from recognized universities in a field related to Quantity Surveying and must be registered with the relevant professional board (AQRB) governing this profession.

DEREVA DARAJA LA II (DRIVER GRADE II) (296 Posts) Duties and Responsibilities

  • Inspecting the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in safe condition.
  • Driving staff to various places on official trips.
  • Performing minor vehicle repairs.
  • Collecting and distributing various documents.
  • Filling and keeping records of all trips in the logbook.
  • Cleaning the vehicle.
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience Applicants must have completed Form Four (Form IV) and possess a Form IV Certificate. They must hold a Class ‘E’ or ‘C’ driving license, have at least one year of driving experience without causing an accident, along with certificates of training that qualify them for the respective classes, and must have attended a Basic Driving Course offered by the Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) or any other government-recognized institution.

General Conditions All applicants must be Tanzanian citizens and not exceed 45 years of age. However, for positions in military institutions: applicants for non-degree positions must not exceed 25 years, and applicants for degree positions must not exceed 30 years.
