Applicant qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- Must possess a valid Advocate’s Practising Certificate, where applicable, or meet the legal requirements to practice in Tanzania.
- Must have a good understanding of Tanzanian laws, contracts, corporate governance, and labor laws.
- Must have excellent communication, negotiation, and legal drafting skills.
- Must be honest, hardworking, and self-motivated.
- Relevant work experience will be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide legal advice to the company.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in legal matters where necessary.
- Handle legal disputes and provide risk management support.
