MAAFISA WA MAUZO (4 POSITIONS)
USINDO Ventures Limited is looking for hardworking and trustworthy sales officers who can build long-term customer relationships and support the expansion of the USINDO Fresh Fish business in Dar es Salaam.
The company aims to increase weekly sales from 1,500 kilograms to 6,000 kilograms by acquiring new wholesale customers.

Job information
- Contract: Three months, renewable depending on performance
- Duty station: Makuburi, Ubungo, Dar es Salaam
- Number of positions: 3
Main responsibilities
- Identify and register new wholesale fish customers.
- Visit fish shops, restaurants, hotels, institutions and large-scale traders.
- Promote USINDO Fresh Fish products and services.
- Collect market information and competitors’ prices.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports.
Performance targets
- Prospective customer visits: At least 10 per day
- New active customers: Up to 10 per week
- Minimum purchase per customer: 50 kilograms per week
- New sales: At least 400 kilograms per week
- Sales reports: Daily and weekly
An active customer is a customer who purchases at least 50 kilograms of fish from USINDO Fresh Fish every week.
Applicant qualifications
- Form Four, Form Six, a diploma or certificate in Business, Marketing or a related field.
- Sales experience is an added advantage.
- Good communication and persuasion skills.
- Honest, disciplined and willing to work toward set targets.
- Knowledge of different areas of Dar es Salaam is an advantage.
- Must own an Android phone.
- The ability to ride a motorcycle is an advantage.
Benefits
- Salary: TSh 200,000 per month. The salary will increase after two months.
- Transport and communication allowance: TSh 25,000 per working day.
- Initial training on products and sales techniques.
- An opportunity for continued employment based on performance.
Performance bonus
A sales officer will receive a monthly bonus of TSh 100,000 after meeting the following condition:
- Securing active customers whose combined purchases are at least 200 kilograms per week above the initial target of 400 kilograms per week.
