Job Description
He/She will be responsible for effective and efficient management and coordination of the Bank’s Resources, Operations Processes in order to deliver excellent Customer Service while mitigating operational risks.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Overseeing the daily activities and performance of these departments to ensure smooth operations and quality customer service.
• Responsible for securely managing and using branch keys, when necessary, especially in the absence of higher management.
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reconciled to maintain the integrity of the branch’s financial records.
• Reviewing and authenticating customer transactions such as cheque withdrawals and clearing processes to prevent fraud and ensure compliance.
• Authorizing batches of transactions and entries in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Conducting daily audits and reconciliations of various internal accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Addressing customer concerns and inquiries promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Promoting and informing customers about the bank’s products and services to meet sales targets and enhance customer relationships.
• Reviewing and approving payment vouchers to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
• Reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all financial entries and transactions posted to accounts.
• Ensuring that all internal accounts are balanced and reconciled accurately to prevent discrepancies and errors.
• Monitoring and maintaining the functionality of ATM machines to ensure they are available for customer use at all times.019
• Following established bank policies, procedures, and guidelines to maintain compliance and operational efficiency.

COMPETENCIES
• Having enough experience in credit.
• Experience in Banking Ops – Cash, Clearing, Accts & Admin.
• Experience in customer service/Relationship Mgt.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced diploma in Accountancy, Banking and Finance or any other business-related studies.
• At least 4 years’ experience in banking operations activities
