JOB OPPORTUNITY – PHARMACY PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Location: Dar es Salaam

Reporting to: Commercial Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pharmacy Procurement Officer to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products at optimal price and quality, in line with approved procurement plans.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze product consumption trends and forecast demand accurately.
• Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with suppliers.
• Oversee procurement contracts and ensure compliance with agreed terms.
• Track deliveries and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Prepare regular purchasing, cost, and pricing reports for management.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, sourcing, and supplier networks.
• 2–3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical procurement or supply chain operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, Pharmacy, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.
• High level of integrity, organization, and attention to detail.
