Recovery Officer
Job Purpose To manage non-performing loans and ensure effective recovery of delinquent accounts while maintaining professional customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and follow up on overdue loan accounts.
- Negotiate repayment plans and implement recovery strategies.
- Prepare portfolio quality and recovery performance reports.
- Liaise with legal teams on recovery actions where necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recovery records.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in credit administration or debt recovery within a financial institution.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of banking regulations and recovery procedures is an added advantage.
