Duties and responsibilities

The Research Officer will be responsible for supporting wildlife management research activities, data analysis, proposal development, publication, and dissemination of research findings.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• To collect, process, and analyze data related to wildlife management.
• To initiate and participate in wildlife research in collaboration with other researchers.
• To collaborate and interact with research scientists in the dissemination and application of research findings, as appropriate.
• To gather relevant literature and write research reports.
• To develop research proposals for fundraising.
• To publish research results in peer-reviewed journals and publishers.
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

Applicants must be holders of both a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following fields from recognized institutions:

• Wildlife Management
• Wildlife Science
• Zoology

Applicants must have a minimum of an Upper Second Class or an overall minimum of Grade B+ for unclassified undergraduate degrees.
