Vacancy – Sales & Marketing Manager

A reputable salt manufacturing company is looking for an experienced and results-oriented Sales & Marketing Manager to drive sales growth and expand the company’s market presence.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7 – 10 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in salt, FMCG, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new markets and customers.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and customer relationship skills.
• Knowledge of the Tanzanian salt market and distribution networks will be an added advantage.
• Ability to compile and analyze market and sales data.
• Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively throughout Tanzania and neighboring countries.
• Experience coordinating transport and logistics, including lake/boat transport.
• Experience in export documentation and follow-up with customs and regulatory authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end sales and marketing strategy for the company’s salt products.
• Coordinate movement of goods from factory to warehouse and onward for export.
• Manage transport and lake/boat logistics for exports.
• Liaise daily with warehouse in-charges on stock levels and dispatch.
• Prepare and follow up export documentation and customs clearance.
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers.
• Report regularly on sales performance and market development.
