Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
Lead budget preparation, forecasting, and financial variance analysis to support business decisions.
Manage daily accounting transactions, general ledger reconciliation, and cash flow operations.
Ensure compliance with Tanzanian statutory tax laws (VAT, PAYE, Corporate Tax, Withholding Tax) and regulatory filings.
Coordinate internal and external audit processes, preparing necessary schedules and documentation.
Maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies.
Process employee payrolls accurately and on schedule, ensuring timely remittance of statutory contributions.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, maintaining accurate vendor and client records.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
Professional accounting qualification (CPA(T), ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
Relevant accounting experience in a senior or supervisory financial capacity.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or SAP) and advanced MS Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of Tanzanian tax regulations and financial reporting standards (IFRS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
