Manage a portfolio of corporate customers primarily within the Oil & Gas sector, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted financial advisor. The role involves prospecting and acquiring new corporate clients to drive revenue, grow market share, and structure tailored banking solutions in line with the bank’s strategic growth strategy.
Achieve annual financial targets for P&L and Balance Sheet (PBT and Balance Sheet growth).
Translate portfolio growth strategy into clear performance scorecards delivering revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
Manage asset quality aggressively, maintaining Non-Performing Loans (NPL) below 5%.
Proactively manage Portfolio at Risk (PAR) within the first 30 days to prevent conversion to NPL status.
Adhere strictly to internal bank policies, credit guidelines, and statutory regulations.
Resolve internal and external audit findings within the quarter of identification (or agreed timeframe) with zero repeat findings.
Maintain 100% Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence and turnaround times for customer applications and queries.
Drive customer satisfaction, acquisition, and retention across assigned corporate portfolios.
Utilize real-time CRM systems to maintain accurate client data and track pipeline opportunities.
Elevate customer satisfaction metrics, measured via Net Promoter Score (NPS) and Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI/RSI).
Manage personal learning and development plans while coaching and mentoring direct reports (Relationship Managers where applicable).
Maintain a team average performance rating of 90% and product knowledge score of 98%.
Ensure zero business disruption due to staffing gaps, while driving high employee engagement and 360-degree leadership feedback.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Commercial/Corporate Banking, with at least 3 years in a management capacity within a similar organization.
Significant experience in Corporate Banking with a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas sector.
Proven track record of consistently achieving financial growth targets and acting as a trusted financial advisor.
Strong knowledge of local banking regulations, corporate products, credit structuring, trade finance, and operational workflows.
Advanced competencies in coaching, building trust, driving results, business acumen, and fostering collaboration.
Direct Reports: Relationship Managers (where applicable).
Key Stakeholders: All internal bank departments, corporate clients, financial institutions, regulators, and industry partners.
Decision Authority: Strategic pricing structures, product offering recommendations, and budgetary expenditure approvals within delegated discretionary powers.
