St. Joseph University in Tanzania (SJUIT) invites applications from suitable, qualified, and experienced Tanzanians for the following vacant positions at the St Joseph University College of Health and Allied Sciences, Boko Dovya Campus, Dar es Salaam.

Academic Staff

Required Qualifications

1. Tutorial Assistant / Tutor
   • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or a B+ grade or above.
2. Assistant Lecturers
   • Holders of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University with at least a 4.0 GPA or B+;
   • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or a B+ grade or above.
3. Senior Lecturer / Lecturer
   • PhD in the relevant field or MMed. Degree or equivalent in the relevant subject with a minimum GPA of not less than 4.0 from a recognized University.
   • Holders of a Master’s Degree in the relevant field from a recognized University with at least a 4.0 GPA or B+;
   • Holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant field (First or Upper Second Class) with a GPA of not less than 3.5 or a B+ grade or above.
4. Responsibilities of Assistant Lecturers / Lecturers / Senior Lecturers
   • To teach students in relevant programmes
   • To conduct research to further knowledge in relevant fields
   • To offer consultancy and outreach public service.
