Tecic is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Project Manager to lead project execution, field operations, resources, and teams in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor project activities from start to finish.
Lead and manage field operations, operational priorities, and site activities.
Supervise field teams, contractors, and technical personnel to ensure productivity, discipline, and quality.
Monitor progress to ensure project delivery within scope, time, and budget.
Identify risks, solve problems, and implement prompt corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across all tasks.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong project management abilities with a results-focused, problem-solving mindset.
Proven leadership in coordinating diverse workforces and managing large field teams.
Flexibility to navigate shifting timelines, changing priorities, and operational challenges.
Excellent communication and reporting skills to maintain alignment between teams, management, and clients.
Demonstrated track record of efficient resource management and schedule control.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of project management experience in telecommunications/fiber, construction, or related industries.
Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
