Position: Turbine operator

Duties/responsibilities
- Operate turbines and auxiliary equipment per procedures.
- Start, synchronize, load, unload, and shut down safely.
- Monitor parameters (pressure, temperature, vibration, speed, load) and act when needed.
- Inspect turbines, generators, lubrication, cooling, condensers, and auxiliaries.
- Report abnormalities in operation, equipment, or process.
- Respond to alarms, trips, and emergencies to reduce downtime.
- Coordinate with control room, boiler operators, and maintenance teams.
- Assist with isolation, lockout/tag out, and commissioning.
- Support maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance testing.
- Maintain housekeeping in turbine and auxiliary areas.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the management.
Qualification and skills required
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to monitor equipment performance and respond quickly to operational changes.
- Attention to detail and commitment to safe operations.
- 3 years of working experience in the field
