Job Title: Wings for Confident Women Program Manager

Purpose:
To oversee the production of reusable sanitary pads and ensure the smooth operation of the Wings for Confident Women (WCW) program.

Organization Background:
Our NGO is legally registered in Tanzania, with its office located in Moshi. We focus on educational initiatives aimed at empowering adolescents and young adults from disadvantaged backgrounds. Our activities include providing scholarships to motivated individuals lacking the necessary resources to pursue relevant studies, thereby contributing to the alleviation of extreme poverty.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. The Program Manager will be responsible for managing the WCW program, which provides training to selected girls in the community on making reusable feminine pads and developing sewing skills that will enable them to become self-employed in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the production of reusable sanitary pads.
2. Supervise and support the training provided to WCW apprentices.
3. Organize and conduct school outreach activities to raise awareness on Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM).
4. Prepare and submit quarterly and annual program reports.
5. Market the reusable sanitary pads to various outlets.
6. Assist in preparing grant proposals and related funding requests.

Qualifications:

1. Certificate or Diploma in any relevant field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in program management, production, or related areas.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Female candidates will be given priority.
