1. This Invitation for submission of Proposals follows the General Procurement Notice for
project which appeared in PPRA Tender Portal Issue no. 2021-2022 dated 02/07/2021.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority during the financial year 2021/22. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Consultancy Services for Pre-Inspection of Imported Electronic Communication Equipment and Collection of Advance Eco-Levy Fees.
3. The Tanzania Communications Regulatory Authority now invites proposals to provide
the following consulting services: More details on the services are provided in the Terms of
Reference. Consultancy Services for Pre-Inspection of Imported Electronic Communication
Equipment and Collection of Advance Eco-Levy Fees
6. This Request for Proposal (RFP) has been addressed to the following short-listed
Consultants:
• Intertek Caleb Brett TZN Ltd, P. O. Box 77428, DAR ES SALAAM
• SGS Tanzania Superintendence Co. Ltd, P. O. Box 1249, DAR ES SALAAM
• Bureau Veritas Tanzania Ltd, P. O. Box 50167, DAR ES SALAAM
It is not permissible to transfer this invitation to any other firm.
7. A firm will be selected under International Competitive Selection and procedures
described in this RFP.
