Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
which appeared in TANePS Issue no. . dated 20/08/2021.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation during the financial year 2021/2022. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for the Consultancy Services for Quality Control for Acquisition and Processing of 2D Seismic data in Eyasi Wembere Block.
3. The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation now invites eligible Firms to indicate
their interest in providing the services which include i. Ensure the survey is carried out
within specified parameters ii. To make sure all required survey equipment monitoring
procedures are adhered to iii. Ensure all data acquired and accepted are within the
tolerances described in the Terms of Reference (ToR) for the 2D seismic Survey. Without
limiting the consulting firm judgment and expertise, at a minimum the quality control
procedures will be those described in the TORs for 2D seismic Survey. However alternative
methods can be proposed but have to be agreed upon with the Client. iv. Ensure that
specifications for preliminary data processing are adhered to v. Ensure final products
including data, maps and reports are of satisfactory quality as specified in the ToR for 2D
seismic Survey vi. Provide inception, progress and final reports of the project.
6. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
7. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
8. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.9. Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the office of the
Secretary TPDC Tender Board, Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation, PSSF
Kambarage Tower, Jakaya Kikwete Road, P.O Box 1191, Dodoma, Tanzania, 8th Floor-
Wing ‘‘C’’, between 9:00 and 15:00 hours from Monday to Friday inclusive except on
Public Holidays, [email protected] from 09:00-15:00 on Mondays to Fridays
inclusive except on public holidays.
10. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or before 29/12/2021, 11:00
11. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the
circumstances.
