Expression of Interest

1. This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN)
   which appeared in Tanzania National Electronic Procurement System (TANePS) Issue no.
   2019/2020 dated 26/03/2020.
2. The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation
   of the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation during the financial year 2019/2020.
   It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment
   under the contract for the Consultancy Services for 3D Modeling of Gradiometry Data for
   2D Seismic Designing.
3. The Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation now invites eligible Firms to indicate
   their interest in providing the services which include Create an insightful 3D model by
   integrating Airborne Gravity Gradiometry (AGG), Aeromagnetic, shallow borehole, and
   other available data; Plot 3D displays of the model in one simple step, while retaining
   control over each element in the 3D visualization; Automatically update 3D visualizations
   during inversion and structure editing; Add wells/boreholes, seismic sections or volumes,
   and other vector or raster information to 3D model visualizations; Generate the overall
   surface design of 2D seismic data acquisition; Horizons inference from the developed
   AGG-3D model for velocity modeling; Ray tracing generation,Noise characterization and
   analysis; Design a new plan and optimal parameters for the acquisition of 2D seismic data.
   The timeline for the consultancy assignment is three (3) months. Expressions of Interest
   (EoI) shall be submitted online through TANePS (www.taneps.go.tz). Tenders will be
   opened promptly thereafter through the system after the deadline of tender submission.
4. Interested Firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform
   the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments,
   experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.
   Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
5. A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public
   Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 – Government
   Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
6. Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost based selection procedures
   specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
7. 8. Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be electronically submitted in the proper format, at or
   before 28/05/2020, 11:00
9. Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
