1.Tanzania Electric Supply Company Limited T ANESCO is an autonomous Government organization with the mission to Generate transmit and Distribute Electricity. The Company has its Headquarter in Dodoma and extends to over 28 Regions divided into Seven Zones and more than 92 Districts all over the country. Due to an increase number of customers. the company has decided to purchase a property for TANESCO District Office I0 that the customers will be attended timely in case of emergency cause and obtain other company services through these offices.
2. TANESCO intend! to acquire land and therefore Issued this Expression of Interest for the purpose of identifying property owners who have an interest in offering their land for sale.
Selection Criteria will he as follows:
· The cover letter should indicate the legal owner of the land.
· The owner should mute history of land use.
· The owner should have full legal document Le. Title Deed.
· The Land should be within Ubungo Municipality (Kinondoni south Region)
· The plot should have the measuring in the range of 4,000 to 6,0005quare meters in Ubungo Municipality.
· The Land should be along the street road for easy accessibility by service and customer cars and pedestrians The location should be Along Morogoro Road from Kimara Baruti to Mbezi Stand.
· Also the location should be not more than 200 meters from Morogoro Road Left or Right The land should not be part of mortgage at any Bank or any other financial institution.
3. TANESCO now invites Expression of Interest from owners of landing the area specified above. The land shall have easy access to the general public and within a friendly environment that is appropriate for the company business.
4. On receipt of such Expression of Interest, the said land will be inspected for preliminary short-listing of those areas that meets requirement under Para 2 above. Owners of the shortlisted land would be requested to submit their financial offers for scrutiny and comparison prior entering into contract with the lowest evaluated owner.
5. The Expression of Interest can be forwarded by owners or their representatives enclosing legally binding authorization to administer on his/her behalf including finalizing the agreement.
6. Interested eligible owners of the land with building may obtain expression of interest document free of charge from the office of SECRETARY DELEGATED ZONAL TENDER BOARD, TANESCO P. 0. BOX 2233, DAR ES SALAAM Ministry of Energy and Minerals SAMORA AVENUE.
7. Expression of Interest documents in one (1) original plus three (3) copies, properly filled in are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes marked, TENDER No.PA/00l/2019-20/DZN/G/42 EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR ACQUISITION OF LAND AT UBUNGO MUNICIPAL DAR ES SALAAM FOR KIMARA DISTRICT OFFICE must be delivered to Secretary Delegated Zonal Tender Board, TANESCO DSM & COAST Zone Ministry of Energy and Minerals SAMORA AVENUE PO. Box 2233 Dar Es Salaam at or before 10:30 HRS 20TH December, 2019. If owner has more than one Plot to be offered, a separate Expression of Interest has to be submitted for each Plot.
8. Deadline for submission will be on or before 10:30 hrs local time 20TH December, 2019 on Thursday. The submissions will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of owner’s representatives who choose to attend in the opening ceremony.
9. Late submissions, portion of submission electronic submissions, and submissions not received. submissions not opened and not read out in public at the tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted irrespective of the circumstances.
