This invitation for expression of interest follows the General Procurement N otlce (GPN) which appeared in the Daily News Issue no. 2055 dated 21st September, 2019.
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the National Irrigation Commission (NIRC) during the financial year 2019/ 2020. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for reviewing of feasibility studies, designs and preparation of tender document and supervision of Mkombozi Irrigation Scheme.
The National Irrigation Commission (NIRC) now invites firms to indicate their interest in providing the services which include reviewing of feasibility studies, designs and preparation of tender document and supervision of Mkombozi Irrigation Scheme, during the financial year 2019-20.
Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services by submitting consultant’s profile, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 as amended and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013 Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations) as amended.
Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
Interested eligible consultants may obtain further information from the Office of the Secretary, National Irrigation Commission Tender Board, Kikuyu South, P.O. Box 146, DODOMA from 0930 to 1500hrs on Monday to Friday inclusive except on public holidays.
Expressions of Interest (EoI) must be delivered to the address below on or before 7th October, 2019 at 11:00 hours:

Late Expressions of Interest shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
