EXPRESSION OF INTEREST/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY VARIOUS STRATEGIC GOODS AND SERVICES FOR GEITA GOLD MINING LIMITED TANZANIA

INTRODUCTION

Geita Gold Mining Limited and AngloGlod Ashati Ltd is subsidiary is located in north western Tanzania in Lake Victoria goldfields of geita about 120 KM from Mwanza and 44 KM West of the town of geita

The supply & delivery of various strategic shall be performed at AngloGold Ashant –geita Gold Mining Limited

The purpose of EO is to explore the supply market for competent suppliers with the requisite technical skills and knowledge and financial capacity to undertake the Supply and Delivery & delivery of various  strategic goods at Geita Gold Mine in accordance with the RFI document

The response of this EOI will be used to shortlist capable service provider that will be invited to respond to the main tender for provision of various works/service for Geita Gold mining Ltd.  The details and date for the issues of the main tender will be communicated to shortlisted companies only.  It is necessary to respond to EOI/RFI in order to be pre-qualified be considered for the main tender

Scope of work

Below is the list of various potential tenders to SUPPLY AND DELIVERY STRATEGIC GOODS  and or SERVICES that this expression of interest is based on with the aim to prequalify the application prior to issuance of tender invitation for the specific tenders

GENERAL INFORMATION REQUIRED

The below information is required in order to conclude pre-qualification evaluation set out below

1. Detailed service providers information with organization structure, list of manpower with CV of key personnel parent company (if applicable) support agencies and other facilities and resources
2. Details of completion of similar type of contracts in the last 3 years and similar contract/agreements currently under execution covering
3. Brief scope of work
4. Value work in Tanzania Shillings
5. Contract execution duration
6. Clients name
7. Contact details of the client GGML may approach the client directly for feedback on health, safety and environmental statistics, lost time injury graph etc
8. At least 3 reference letters from existing clients are required

3. Detailed of business presence in Tanzania
4. Provide details on local content including
5. Local procurement  of goods and services
6. Local employment and training practice
7. Details of percentage of managerial and non-managerial position held by Tanzania citizen
8. Shareholding structure of the shareholders
9. Local research and development expenditure
10. A copy of the latest local content plan content and local content performance report as submitted to the mining commission or equivalent information in no prior reports and plans for the execution of similar works

5.  list of procedures and quality assurance practice currently in place  for the execution of similar works
6. List of HSE management  system, HSE policy and implementation procedures in line internationally accept practices
7. Quality assurance and quality control plan/procedure in place for the execution of similar type of work, copy of ISO or any other certification as applicable
8. Service providers financial performance document(audited balance sheet profit and loss account and cash flow statement  auditor’s report and notes to  accounts) for the last 3 years
9. Ownership please provide the following information about your organization  ownership/partners/member
   1. privately owned companies, list of all owners their nationality and respective percentage ownership of your organization
   1. for publicly traded companied a list of all shareholders holding more than 5% with details of their nationality and percentage ownership

PRE-QUALIFICATION EVALUATION considerations

In evaluating the interested bidders GGML will consider the following

• Service reliability:- prospective bidders to indicate the approach they will adopt to ensure quality of the capital items, particular in the mining sector and in remote locations
• Capability:- prospective  bidders to give  details of their capability regarding the provision  of services to similar size of clients as GGML ( At least 3 reference letters from existing customers are required)
• Health safety and environmental :- prospective bidders to give details of their health safety and environmental management system
• Sustainability:- prospective bidders to give details for their local labor sourcing and training plans as well as detailed of any commitment to the social development of the area where GGML is located
• Permits and certification:- prospective bidders to provide details and evidence of permits and registrations issued by relevant government authorities including OSHA and any other statutory bodies regulating the related
• Financial capability:- prospective bidders to provide details of their financial capability supporting their ability to render the services
• Local content:- prospective bidders to demonstrate their compliance with the requirements as set out in the Tanzania Mining (local content) regulations 2018 amends

Interested bidders must submit their EOI Letter together with supporting information to GGML which states the full name, address, telephone and email address of the tender of the bidder’s name of the principal contact and signed by an authorized representative. The EOI must outline a statement of firm capability to provide supply and delivery of goods and services including similar contracts undertaken over past years. All LOIs and support documentation must be received by the GGML office via email at [email protected]   no later than 8:30 17^th July 2020 the (LOI submission deadline) EOI submission deadline should not exceed 10 MB per Emil in case the size of the email exceed 10 MB please split the submission into the more than one email
