SOS Children’s Villages Tanzania is locally registered non – government organization affiliated to SOS villages international a worldwide childcare organization that provides children who have lost parental care with a permanent home and help them shape their own future by assisting them to recognize their individual abilities, interest and talents by investing in their education and developing their skills for them to be successful and contributing members of their society. SOS villages Tanzania assist families, communities and government to assume their responsibilities in ensuring that children have access to services required to fulfill their survival development protection and participation rights. Its operation centers around two major programmers i.e alternative care (family like care) and family strengthening programmes. SOS villages Tanzania & Zanzibar started its operations in 1991 and currently operate in Arusha, Dar e =s Salaam, Mwanza, Iringa and Zanzibar ( Unguja & Pemba)
BRIEF OF THE ASSIGNMENT
SOS is looking for the competent recruitment agency to assist the organization in looking for the best and competent staff for our programs. The agent will attract candidates, screen them and match them to appropriate position and qualifications which will be approved upon winning the tender. The recruitment agent should have the best selecting and headhunting skills. The agent will use its best endeavors to locate a suitable candidate to the organization and use its skills expertise in recruitment and human resources as well as industry knowledge to allocate screen, interview and test the candidate. The agent shall undertake search for candidate directly or may outsources the role from third-parties or networks specialized tests such as criminal and background-checks will not be performed by the recruitment agency
The recruitment firms should possess the following knowledge and skills
- A detailed company profile with holding a master’s degree with specialization employment and labor relation act industrial, human resources management or any related field
- At least 10 years of professional experience in the HR consulting field mainly in recruitment and selection prefarably working with NGOs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
