REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (NATIONAL COMPETITIVE SELECTION).
This Invitation for Expression of Interest follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) which Published in the Public Procurement Authority Journal, Tender Portal and TANROADS HQ Website Issued on Saturday 01St June, 2019 for Financial Year 2019 I 2020
The Government of United Republic of Tanzania has set aside funds for the operation of the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) Njombe during the financial year 2019/20. It is intended that, part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payment under the contract for Carrying out; Consultancy Services for Feasibility Study, Environmental & Social Impact Assessment, Detailed Engineering Design and Preparation of Tender Documents for the Upgrading of Ndulamo-Nkenja-Kitulo l Regional Road (42.0 KM) to Bitumen Standard In Njombe Region.
The Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) an Executive Agency of the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication now invites eligible Consultant Firms to express their interest in providing the below mentioned Services;
· Feasibility Study including Preliminary Design, Economic Analysis and Cost Estimates.
· Preliminary Environmental and Social impact Assessment (ASIA) and Survey of Properties to be affected.
· Detailed Engineering Design and Cost Estimates.
· Detailed ESlA and RAP and
Preparation of Tender Documents. The estimated period of the assignment is Seven (7) months
Interested Consultants must provide information indicating that they are Qualified to perform the Services by submitting Consultant’s Profile, description of similar assignments (at least three (3) projects), experience in similar conditions (at least one (1) project), appropriate key staffs and their qualifications as per requirement of this project and all legal documents of the Company, etc.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act No. 7 of 2011 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2013Government Notice No. 446 (hereinafter called Procurement Regulations).
Selection will be conducted through the Quality and Cost Based selection procedures specified in the Public Procurement Regulations.
