The USAID Feed the Future Tanzania Private Sector Strengthening Activity (PSSA) seeks expressions of interest from Tanzanian Business
Development Service Providers (BDSPs). PSSA is active in Iringa,Mbeya, Morogoro, and Zanzibar (Unguja and Pemba) and also supports policy work in Dodoma. PSSA partners with private sector associations
and youth-led and focused institutions to co-create and co-finance solutions to the challenges facing youth led enterprise, primarily in agriculture and its related value chains.Using PSSA’s grants and
subcontracting mechanisms, these partners will implement market-oriented sector level plans to improve enterprise access to business, financial, and other technical or extension services and to advocate for youth and business friendly policies and regulations on their members’ behalf.
This call is open to individuals and consulting firms, think tanks, training organizations, and policy research organizations that are interested in providing advisory services and support to PSSA
partners. Organizations must be Tanzanian owned and registered and may not be government owned. Individuals must be Tanzanian citizens. Those qualified will become part of the PSSA Technical
Assistance Network and be eligible to tender for scopes of work under the project through a simplified competitive procurement process.
