FCS INFORMATION WORKSHOPS:
INVITATION TO CIVIL SOCIETY

FCS is an independent Tanzanian not-for-profit development organization serving as a catalytic support mechanism for the cnil society sector in Tanzania Since its inception im 2002. FCS has contributed immensely to the capability strengthening of the civil society sector in Tanzamia thereby directly and indirectly enablmg CSOs and citizens to become key dirving forces for postiveh’ influencmg democrahc governance in Tanzania and better quality of life for all.
In September 2021, FCS launched its Strategic Plan for 2022 – 2026. The implementation of this plan will officially start this year 2022. FCS would like to invite Civil Society Organization: including Non-Governmental Orgamzations (NGOs). Community Based Organizations (CBOs). Professional Associations,
Trade Unions, Media Institutions, Cooperatives, Religious Organizations, Groups and Individuals with the ability and willingness to bring about positive change m Mainland Tanzama and Zanzibar to attend workshops which will be held online through Zoom.
The goals of the workshop are:
1. Informing civil society sector stakeholders about the new Strategic Plan and pnority areas for 2022/2024
2. Enabling organizations, groups and individuals to get detaled imformation on FCS’ new grants procedure
3. To enable CSOs in the country to understand how to register through FCS’ new digital system
