evMak Tanzania is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Head of Business Operations to join our leadership team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving the strategic planning and execution of our business operations, ensuring operational excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the executive team to formulate and execute operational strategies aligned with our organizational objectives.
  • Operational Excellence: Lead all operational functions, optimizing processes, resource allocation, and performance metrics to achieve operational excellence.
  • Team Management: Mentor and manage cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to enhance resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement best practices to drive efficiency.
  • Risk Management: Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Vendor and Partner Relationships: Oversee relationships with vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners to ensure the delivery of top-quality services and products.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics to make informed decisions, monitor KPIs, and identify areas for enhancement.
  • Compliance: Ensure that our operations adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Project Leadership: Lead key projects, from planning to execution, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, or related field. A Master’s degree is advantageous.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a senior operational management role.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
